The Jenour family have farmed the property at Evedon Park since the late 1960's. The property supported beef cattle, fat lambs and dairy cattle over the years.

On a visit to the Eastern States in his youth, Tony had been inspired by the first holiday accommodation units being constructed on the shores of Lake Eucumbene.

Throughout his years of farming, Tony still retained the dream of constructing a tourist resort set in the natural bushland of Evedon Park. This dream was fueled that many people were loosing touch with country life as the farming population declined.

So, in 1982, Tony and Merilyn realized there dream and begin to build Evedon Park Bush Resort.

The 320 hectare property is still a working farm, running beef cattle and sheep.

A large proportion of this land has been left untouched, so there is a vast area of uncleared natural bushland, which gives Evedon Park its unspoilt, peaceful atmosphere.
